Source Management

The Source Management tool (aka SMT) provides options to download mMC, upload sources to mConsole, and manage all uploaded sources.

SMT is available only for account owners and users with the Account Trustee and Data Trustee roles. For more details, refer to User Management.

The Home page of SMT contains the following sections:

Databases

Provides:

  • Statistics about included, excluded, unlicensed databases, and the total number of databases.

  • Navigation to the Databases management page when pressing the Manage Databases button.

Applications

Provides:

  • Statistics about included, excluded, unlicensed applications, and the total number of applications.

  • Navigation to the Applications management page when pressing the Manage Applications button.

Files upload

Allows uploading files for the scanning purposes. The supported file extension is MGV.

Use this method when running mMC in offline mode or in case the online data upload fails.

migVisor Metadata Collector

Contains information about migVisor Metadata Collector (mMC)and the Download mMC button. After downloading the ZIP archive, extract the files into a local directory to run.

Unlicensed databases or applications are those that exceed the amount or type of sources allowed by the account license type. The row is not displayed if there are no unlicensed databases or applications.

The left-side menu allows accessing the Home, Databases, and Applications management pages and downloading mMC.
